We are a group of researchers at the University of Guelph who are interested in food waste. Food waste represents a significant problem across the world and with attention also represents a significant opportunity to reduce the environmental impact of our food system and to improve food security. We will use this site to post updates on our research and to highlight other research we think may be of interest. We welcome feedback and encourage discussion.

I heard that some group at Guelph did a study on food waste in Ontario sometime in the last few years.
Is that your group?
I am trying to find that study.
Thanks
Glad we connected on this, Robert!
Hey Team. This is amazing. I was wondering if we could connect. I work for an environmental NGO called eMERGE that talks about food and waste in Home Efficient Visits. I was wondering if we could connect about this?
Ami
I believe we’ve already connected but happy to chat more. Kate and I both away this week but would love to chat in August.
HI Mike. It would be great to reconnect because I haven’t been involved in the conversation. Please email me at ami@emergeguelph.ca
Hi there I shared your post on limiting food waste at https://guelphfoodwaste.com/2015/04/02/64-of-food-waste-is-preventable-learn-how-you-can-prolong-your-foods-life/ on my blog – I hope that is okay. Thanks for all the helpful tips 🙂
